As well as this, it is effective against a range of bacterial, fungal, yeast and mould species.
Designed to kill green, black and other organisms on your walls or other masonry, this Saint Gobain Weber CL150 Algae and Fungi Cleaner is perfect to use before applying decorative finishes to give the best outcome. It can be used on a variety of materials, including render, previously decorated surfaces, timber, gypsum plaster, cement-based board, stone, concrete, blockwork and brickwork.
Organic growth could indicate consistently damp conditions with possible sources, including rising dampness and faulty plumbing or guttering. Once your wall has been tested for soundness, drench apply this Weber CL150 cleaner onto the surfaces. Where the existing bossed render is being removed as part of the preparation, apply this cleaner to the affected areas after the defective render has been removed. When treating large areas, use a pressurised Knapsack or garden sprayer, but for limited areas, brush application is possible.
Leave this Weber CL150 cleaner for a minimum of 48 hours to take effect and kill the growing moss and unseen spores. Afterwards, remove any dead growth by brushing with a stiff bristle or wire brush, or by power washing. Remember to wear protective clothing and safety equipment and clean all equipment with water immediately after use. Please do not dispose of waste material into drainage systems.
