Intended to reflect radiant heat back into the rooms of your home, the YBS SuperQuilt Lite Insulation is a 1.5m x 10m roll of multifoil insulation that includes a two-in-one insulating vapour control. It is perfect for keeping in warmth and, as a result, can help you cut back on money spent on energy bills, while also ensuring a warmer and more comfortable living area.
When the joins have been taped and sealed using aluminium foil tape, SuperQuilt Lite will stop the progression of moisture. This limits the likelihood of condensation build-up. A full roll will deliver 15m² coverage, though it can be cut to the necessary size easily when using a pair of scissors or a craft knife.
Compatible with a range of applications, both new build or existing properties, SuperQuilt Lite can be installed in your walls, floors and roof. It has a thickness of 32mm and is a fantastic solution when room space is at a premium. It also consists of nine flexible layers to form its thin profile, and SuperQuilt Lite can deliver an excellent level of thermal performance of up to 2.07 m²K/W, which is comparable to 90mm thick mineral wool insulation.
Fully compliant with building controls and accepted by the National House Building Council (NHBC), performance and reliability are guaranteed thanks to its full Agrément certification to UK industry standards. This product also has a thermal performance at its core of 0.77m²K/W. Thermal performance, including cavities, when used for a roof is 1.85m²K/W, for a wall is 2.07m²K/W, and for a floor is 3.14m²K/W.
