Providing outstanding acoustic insulation performance in roof, floor and wall systems, this Thermafleece UltraWool has a 31kg/m³ density.
Additionally, it's made in the UK using wool from British sheep, so if you want to improve the condition of your home whilst remaining environmentally conscious, this UltraWool is the perfect solution. Whilst traditional insulation can be uncomfortable to use and handle, this Thermafleece UltraWool is the opposite.
Research suggests with a combination of 75% wool and recycled fibres, this insulation will outperform other products with a higher percentage of wool. Lightweight and easy to install, it has no irritating fibres you would get with glass wool insulation. This means you don't need to worry about protecting your eyes or hands, although a dust mask is recommended in enclosed areas such as lofts.
This Thermafleece UltraWool is suitable for various applications, including suspended ground floors and between floors, timber frames and solid walls, and lofts and warm roofs. It is a smart choice if you want insulation that is a strong performer and beneficial to the environment. A by-product of using sheep's wool as your insulation is your home will start to combat CO2 emissions and become breathable as it absorbs harmful airborne substances and regulates moisture, improving the air quality as a result.
