With a much higher density than traditional insulation, this Thermafleece UltraWool insulation is an ideal choice if you're short of space to fit very thick insulation. Because of its superior thermal performance, you will achieve excellent energy saving values even if space is at a premium.
If you're looking for something more favourable to the environment, this Thermafleece UltraWool insulation is made in the UK using wool from British sheep and is packed tightly, reducing the impact on the environment by up to 50%. Installing this insulation is very easy. Being a 75% sheep wool and 25% recycled polyester blend, it doesn't release any irritating fibres that can upset your eyes and lungs, so there's no need for any additional PPE. Although if working in an enclosed space like a loft, it is recommended to wear a dust mask.
Sheep's wool is naturally a breathable material, so by using it, you are allowing your home to breathe and improve the air quality. It will also reduce tonnes of CO2 emissions over its lifetime.
This Thermafleece UltraWool insulation is suitable for a wide variety of applications including suspended ground floors and between floors and timber frame and solid walls as well as lofts and warm roofs.
