Tado’s Smart Radiator Thermostat Starter Kit can be used in instances where homeowners don’t have their own boiler but they do have their own radiators. For apartment blocks for example it’s a great way to reduce the amount of energy you use and save money. This kit is for radiator valves that are vertically mounted.
This starter kit contains everything you need to start saving on your energy bills! If you already own Tado Smart Thermostat you only need the Smart Radiator Thermostats, not this starter kit. This kit will allow multi-room control across your home without needing direct access to the boiler.
Smart Schedules and the Tado mobile app help to reduce energy use where it’s not needed by allowing total control of each room and each radiator. If you arrive home from work at 5:30pm for example, you can set your Smart Schedule to activate the radiators in the kitchen and living room at 5pm so that your home is toasty warm without leaving heating on all day.
With the Tado app, you can choose when your heating turns on or off and to what temperature, with more than device able to control the heating so each family member can work to their own schedule. The Tado mobile app uses the location of each mobile device connected to it to determine when the last person has left the house. It’ll then turn all heating off automatically and it can be programmed to turn it back on when a mobile is detected within a certain radius.
An LED display shows the temperature of each radiator and there’s a control knob too so you can manually change the temperature on the radiator. Compatible with IFTTT, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit, Tado Smart Radiator Thermostat is a truly smart device.
