Find out moreWith excellent ratings for environmental and fire performance, this Superglass Multi-Roll 44 insulation roll is a lightweight material made from classified A1 non-combustible glass mineral wool. To prevent cutting and waste, this flexible roll features perforations for easy installation between common joist spacings.
Typically, Superglass Multi-Roll 44 is used for thermal insulation in cold roofs and lofts that are both new and existing, although it can be applied in other settings such as suspended timber ground floors. If the roll is installed in a loft or cold roof, it can be placed between and over the joists. It also boasts an impressive thermal conductivity of 0.044W/mK, which translates to excellent thermal performance.
Moreover, up to 84% of the materials used to create this product are recycled glass and it has no ozone-depleting substances or greenhouse gases, making it a sustainable option. Additionally, the installation process is simple with easy cutting and handling, and the material can be fit with minimal hassle.
Superglass products are non-hygroscopic in nature, ensuring that they avoid rotting, degradation, and vermin infestation. Furthermore, the products do not create an environment that promotes the growth of mould, bacteria, or fungi. They have minimal resistance to vapour, which permits easy passage of vapour through the insulation.

Question:
We need 5 rolls of the 100mm thick insulation material. We have used you before, we are just west of Exeter. near Longdown EX6 7SB. Could you kindly confirm when your next delivery slot is please? Many thanks
Answer:
We can not supply any loft roll at the moment sorry.
Question:
Can this product be used to insulate between joists, basement and ground floor flooring materials. (Old house construction)?
Answer:
You can use this product to insulate between the joists, that is not a problem. I would recommend looking into using insulation netting to help support the loft roll when it is being used on a horizontal plane, as there is no rigidity to the loft roll to keep it in place.
