This SuperFOIL SFNC Insulation is versatile for roofs, walls, and floors with an rValue of 1.54m²K/W in pitch roofs and 1.99m²K/W in walls (using air gaps). It can also be used over and under rafters for higher performance in a 'duet' format. It is also compatible with other insulation materials like mineral wool or foam board for combi installation to achieve the necessary insulation uValue.
This product has excellent thermal resistance. Its rValues (air gaps included) are as follows: for roofs, the rValue is 1.54m²K/W; for walls, it is 1.99m²K/W; for floors, it is 3.46m²K/W; and the core rValue of this product is 0.62m²K/W.

Answer:
To maintain the tested fire rating of the SuperFOIL SFNC product, SuperFOIL Superior Tape should be used. SuperFOIL Superior Tape also provides high strength and enhanced adhesive which allows it to be used even in cold weather.

What size Staples do I need to fix SuperFOIL SFNC?
Answer:
We recommend using a minimum 30mm staples for use with SuperFOIL SFNC. The staples should be adequate size to hold the SuperFOIL in place until your battens are fitted forming the permanent fixing.

What size Battens should I use with SuperFOIL SFNC?
Answer:
Minimum of 25mm depth battens to allow the material to expand fully and maintain the required airspace for full thermal performance.
