With a Class 0 Fire Propagation certification, this fire-resistant multifoil is engineered to slow down fire growth and reduce the risk of ignition, ensuring a safer environment for your property. It also has a Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame certification, which means that flames won't spread quickly along surface, providing you will peace of mind and safety.

This reflective radiant barrier has been tested and certified by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) and is suitable for use in floors, walls and roofs in both renovation and new build projects. It can be used on its own or in combination with other insulation materials to boost uValues and deliver greater fire performance. It is also easy to handle and install, with a convenient roll size that minimises waste.

With an R-value of 2.27 for roofs, 2.73 for walls and 4.37 for floors, this SuperFOIL SF19 FR is the ultimate insulation solution that allows you to keep hot air inside during the winter months and keep cool air inside throughout the summer.

Could this be use on a workshop/high bay/ steel clad roof building?

Answer:

The product in question would be suitable for this application, bearing in mind it is also a vapour barrier so creates an air tight seal so air movement will be minimised.

What tape should be used with SuperFOIL SF19FR?

Answer:

To maintain the tested fire rating of the SuperFOIL FR range of products, SuperFOIL Superior Tape should be used. SuperFOIL Superior Tape also provides high strength and enhanced adhesive which allows it to be used even in cold weather.

Question:

What size Staples do I need to fix SuperFOIL SF19FR?

Answer:

We recommend using a minimum 14mm staples for use with SuperFOIL SF19FR. The staples should be adequate size to hold the SuperFOIL in place until your battens are fitted forming the permanent fixing.

Question:

What size Battens should I use with SuperFOIL SF19FR?

Answer:

Minimum of 38mm depth battens to allow the material to expand fully and maintain the required airspace for full thermal performance.
