With this high-performing SFBA foil insulation, you can upgrade your garage door insulation and say goodbye to chilly winters and hot summers in your garage. It features a 3mm double layer with reflective foil surfaces on both sides of a polyethylene bubble membrane, suitable for both manual and automatic garage doors.
Not only does this SuperFOIL insulation offer energy savings, but also acts as a vapour control layer, protecting your home from damp and delivering high-performance energy insulation. What's more, it is made with 40% recycled materials for sustainability. Designed for maximum energy efficiency, this two-in-one protection is tested to the highest UK standards.
For installation, it is recommended to fit this SuperFOIL SFBA Insulation Kit at an ambient temperature of 5°C or higher. Before installing, ensure the inside of your garage door is clean and free of dirt, dust, grease or oil.
The installation process is easy. Just stick the double-sided self-adhesive sticky tape to the door and fix multiple lines to cover the full width, completely covering the perimeter and ensuring each length of foil has two or more lines of adhesion. Simply cut the insulation foil to size and overlap the edges of each length by 50mm, sticking it to your garage door. Remember to allow a flap opening for the handle. Finally, seal the overlapped joints using the SuperFOIL reflective tape to stop air movement.
