What's more, it is versatile enough to seal sliding door and sash window systems, allowing them to pass over each other with ease.
Each roll comes with a generous 15 metres of tape, enough to draught-proof up to three doors when cut to size. By providing excellent performance, this tape increases home insulation and reduces energy bills, keeping you warm and cosy all year round. Don't let old or unsealed window or door frames let in the cold. Seal those gaps up to 5mm wide with this brush pile strip tape.
Before applying the seal, make sure to clean the surface thoroughly and remove any flaking paint, grease, dust or dirt. Rub down the surfaces with white spirit if necessary and allow them to dry completely. Once the surface is clean and dry, apply the seal by removing approximately 150mm of the backing paper and pressing it firmly to the top of one side of the door or window frame.
Continue to remove the backing paper and press the seal down securely as you work your way down, using scissors to cut the seal to the exact length required. Repeat this process for the other side of the frame, ensuring the seal is properly compressed by closing action.
