The German manufactured SPAX YELLOX Pozi Universal Partial Thread Screw is amazingly divers in its indoor applications, with the flat countersunk head giving you a flush finish to any project.
SPAX’s MULTI Head design allows for your screw to countersink easily into softwoods and most hardwoods, this creates a clean and professional finish to your project with every use. Secure application can be achieved quickly with no need to pre-drill any pilot holes, this is however dependant on the wood.
The SPAX MULTI Head means the screw can easily mill into the wood and it will stop on metal.
SPAX offer the 4CUT & Ground serrations as some of its key design features for this screw. When the screw enters the wood, the fibres are pushed aside, this reduces splitting and the screwing-in torque that is required, whilst still getting precision screwing. Dependant on your wood, the 4CUT means you do not need to pre-drill.
The Pozi bit recess allows for you to drill with less torque required and a lower risk of cam-out, this is where your drill slips out of the head of the screw and causes damage.
This SPAX Pozi Universal Partial Thread screw is coated in YELLOX an exclusive surface that achieves corrosion protection that is greater than that offered by blue zinc plating. YELLOX is free of chrome (VI) making it a more environmentally friendly than conventional surfaces both during manufacturing and in use.
