These high-quality resin-bonded slabs are available in a choice of thicknesses to suit your specific requirements and are CE-marked and certified to EN 13162.
Lightweight and easy to handle, you can cut to size and into any shape by using a sharp-bladed utility knife. Once fitted, these ROCKWOOL slabs will require no maintenance.
Their fibre structure ensures sound absorption at the surface with characteristically high coefficients over a wide frequency range to reduce noise. Unfaced, they achieve excellent fire resistance with an A1 classification in accordance with BS EN 13501-1 and, as defined in all UK and Ireland Building Regulations, comply with the requirements of non-combustible products/materials.

This is designed to be friction fit into a frame on the inside of a wall and then boarded over, you cannot render over the product.

Can this be used in a block partition wall to fill the cavity?
Answer:
The product is designed to be used in a friction fit method in a timber frame (stud frame) - There is no other method of fixing as you cannot penetrate or glue it to a surface.

I have 4”/ 10cm thick stud wall. What thickness of Rockwell do I need? Or is there another product?
Answer:
By giving me those dimensions, that means that you have up to 100mm to play with when deciding what thickness is insulation to use.
Unfortunately we are not able to specifiy what products would be suitable, but the two most common products used would be the slab form of insulation (Rockwool and Celotex as an example)
I would recommend getting in touch with your local Building Authority/Control, as they have the facilities and the Expertise to be able to help answer this in detail for you.
