This innovative ROCKWOOL firestop pipe collar offers a water-resistant, maintenance-free solution for stopping the spread of fire through walls and floors during retrofits of plastic pipework. It has been expertly designed to offer up to four hours of fire protection in rigid floor constructions and up to two hours in flexible/rigid wall constructions.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant steel with a powder coating and a graphite-based intumescent liner, this simple yet effective ROCKWOOL pipe collar is suitable for use with pipes that have a 110mm outer diameter. The integrated toggles ensure a quick and easy installation process by opening and fitting the collar around the pipework, then closing the toggles and pushing the collar flush against your floor or wall. With fire-resistant fixings threaded through tabs, the collar is secured into position.
ROCKWOOL pipe collars will deliver fire-resistance integrity relevant to the performance of the substrate, therefore, if two hours of fire resistance is needed, the substrate should be rated to no less than the collar.
