This Permo sec metal roof underlay provides a highly effective solution, acting as a separating layer between stainless steel, aluminium, zinc and copper standing seam roof finishes and the supporting deck. It functions as a vapour-permeable waterproofing barrier.
With an easy installation process, you can simply lay this Permo sec metal underlay between the timber deck boarding or rigid insulation and the outer metal roof covering, either horizontally or vertically. It can be fixed securely using non-ferrous staples or flat heat clout nails on the overlap. You should install it in accordance with the detailed installation instructions for optimal results. It is suitable for use on roof pitches over 3°.
This Permo sec metal underlay comprises an outer layer of polypropylene mesh bonded to a vapour-permeable membrane. Additionally, the four-layer fleece foil combination of polyolefin, hydrophobic treatment and PP monofilament mesh ensures its durability.
