Description

This 6mm thick fibre cement Tile Backer Board from No More Ply will provide you with a completely flat and solid surface when tiling on a wooden floor. This added stability and reduced movement help to limit the chance of cracked grouting and damage to your tiles.

An excellent alternative to standard plywood boards, this 600mm x 1200mm No More Ply board will provide exceptional strength, the same strength as traditional 15mm plywood, without the added complication of the height that 15mm plywood will give you.

  • Provides you with a completely flat and solid surface when tiling on a wooden floor
  • Ensures added stability and reduced movement to help limit the risk of cracked grouting and damaged tiles
  • An excellent alternative to standard plywood boards
  • Completely non-combustible with 1 fire rating
  • Boards can be made water-resistant when primed for bathrooms and wetrooms
  • Excellent insulating properties, perfect for underfloor heating installations
  • Easy to cut and install

The A1 fire rating ensures that these boards are completely non-combustible so that you can rest easy. When boards are primed with No More Ply's latex-based SBR Professional Tiler's Primer, they can also take on water-resistance to suit bathrooms and wetrooms.

If you have a chipboard floor, direct adhesion can often be problematic due to the high wax content in chipwood. By overlaying the chipboard with No More Ply boards, you can achieve a perfect surface for your tiling job. Thanks to the board's insulating properties, No More Ply makes an excellent addition to floors where underfloor heating systems are installed.
