Description

Manthorpe’s G243 flexible cavity closer is the perfect solution to the challenge of curved and circular windows. This version of the closer is double flanged and designed to be fitted to rebated windows, allowing for easy closing of circular closings with diameters of 500mm and upwards.

From homes with ‘bulls-eye’ windows to larger commercial designs, this closer can be easily integrated into building designs while still meeting all necessary government requirements on insulation.

With its novel joining system and adaptability, this closer is a great choice for realising a building’s full potential. It complies with all government regulations for buildings and provides the correct insulation levels at reveals of window and door openings, providing that frames be placed with an allowance of 15mm of overlap within a cavity. We recommend a cavity tray be installed over windows to encourage water to shed elsewhere, avoiding the inner leaf, closer, and frame.

This product boasts insulation that provides a GWP score of less than five. Given that it's a non-load-bearing closer, it shouldn’t replace traditionally used methods for window and doorframe masonry fixing.
