Manthorpe’s G249F half-hour fire-rated cavity closer offers a fantastic choice when protection against fire forms a vital element of your closing needs.
This two-flange closer is well suited to rebated openings that call for a fire stop to seal cavities and reveals. Consisting of an enclosed box with uPVC extrusions around an insulated fibre core, this handy product not only helps reduce cold bridges, it’s a thermal cavity closer, half-hour fire barrier and also a DPC. With an outer leaf at the exterior, the closer slots in behind and is applicable for exposed categories to the ‘very severe’ level defined within the Code of Practice for Masonry.
This product features a unique variable clip that is designed for allowing the closer to expand to neatly fit the cavity and fit to any length width easily. Requiring no special tools to install and coming in a selection of four sizes to fit widths ranging from 50mm up to 130mm, this closer is both versatile and highly practical.
The G249F is manufactured in compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations and Part D of Scotland's Technical Standards.
