The core of Kingspan Kooltherm K18 Insulated Plasterboard is a premium performance rigid thermoset modified resin insulant manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Please note the K118 range has a composite foil reverse facing.

Features

Insulation for use on solid external walls, under rafters and internal to timber frames.
Insulation should be fixed with drywall screws.
Can be fixed to either timber battens or metal studs in solid wall applications, which should be at a maximum 600mm centres.
Noggins should be used to support any board edges in wall and roof applications.
If there are concerns with damp in walls strips of DPC should be fixed behind battens.
25mm penetration for fixings should be achieved.
Fixings should be located no less than 10mm from board edges.

Requirements), BS / I.S. EN ISO 14001: 2004 (Environmental Management Systems. Requirements) and BS / I.S OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Health and Safety Management Systems. Requirements).

The use of Kingspan Kooltherm K18 Insulated Plasterboard produced at Kingspan Insulation’s Castleblayney manufacturing facility is covered by NSAI Agrément Certificate 09/0329.
