Suited to specialist applications including heavy-duty flooring, car park decks and inverted roofs, this Kingspan GreenGuard 60mm GG300 R is high in performance and compressive strength. It is a fibre-free rigid extruded polystyrene insulation (XPS) that can be handled and installed with ease.

GreenGuard was once named Kingspan Styrozone and is compatible with refurbished or new build projects. It is fabricated with a zero ODP and low GWP blowing agent and proves to remain unaffected by air infiltration. It also enables minimal moisture penetration.

I’m currently in the process of planning the construction of a swimming pool and looking at the specification as to whether it would be suitable, the pool will be on a 200mm concrete base and I would intend to place the insulation on dpm with compacted roadstone underneath, I would then build solid concrete block walls,
