At 1200mm lengths, this pipe insulation is a combination of closed-cell rubber insulation. A built-in water vapour barrier greatly improves the performance of the insulation by eliminating water vapour migration. Meaning water vapour won't transfer from the interior of a building to the exterior to cause condensation at internal insulation.

Dust-free and fibre-free, this Kaiflex pipe insulation ensures no impact on air quality. This in turn prevents danger from the pipe insulation in fires, especially when it comes with a Class 0 fire rating. This means the pipe insulation is self-extinguishing and won't drip, stopping flames and fire from spreading. This Kaiflex ST pipe insulation also absorbs sound and performs a basic acoustic function. The insulation dampens duct wall vibration and can work towards minimising the noise of water flowing through the pipes.
This pipe insulation can also be applied to air-conditioning pipes, HVAC pipes, refrigeration pipes and ductwork. Self-adhesive strips are applied on each side of the split in the tube to easily stick them together for a quick installation process. You can simply peel off the tape and install them swiftly without major tools or adjustments needing to be made.
