Lightweight and compact, this insulation roll is quick and easy to install between joist centres of 400mm or 600mm with the least amount of hassle. It comes pre-perforated for greater convenience, allowing you to create three rolls which are 386mm wide or two rolls 580mm wide.

This endlessly versatile Spacesaver roll is suitable for use in both new-builds and retrofits. They are typically fitted in two layers, with the first one going between the joists and the second being laid over the joists. What's more, this cost-effective roll is resistant to moisture damage in storage, during transportation and on site.

can this be used as an under roof insulation layer, sealed in with a layer of plywood?

Answer:

This is designed to be used at the base of the loft, rolled out between the joists at the flooring level, due to its composition you won't be able to fix it at the roof rafter level.

Isover Spacesaver Loft Roll Insulation Glass Wool 200mm - 6.03m2 Roll Hi I’m looking to add this product as a second layer laid over the joist. So I’m just looking to work out square meterage. If laid at 1160mm wide I’m calculating they are 5.2m long = 6.03M2 Can you confirm please.
