Is this the product I use to fasten polystyrene external 50mm insulation boards to a park home (timber). It appears to comprise of the fixing, plus a plastic nail which I assume can be driven straight into the external timber park home wall.

For something like this, I would recommend pre-drilling to suit before the fixings go in. If you tried to hammer them in, I would be concerned that they would snap and break rendering them unusable.
