Completely free from CFC, HCFC and HFC, this IKO Enertherm ALU insulation board is constructed from a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core and is cladded on both sides with a multi-layer gastight aluminium complex.
Comprising no fewer than seven layers, compacted into a single complex, the high-quality reflecting ALU cladding is tested under rigorous conditions in respect of corrosion resistance, emissivity, water absorption and mechanical properties. Providing a lightweight, sustainable solution that reduces the thickness of building construction, it combines high insulation values with thin construction.
Due to their shape retention and pressure resistance, you can simply walk on the ALU boards which allow technical maintenance on solar panels, air condition units and other roof installations. Easily integrated with roof membranes, this PIR insulation is dimensionally stable and will maintain its resistance to moisture in all weather conditions while remaining at the same weight and insulation value without shrinking.
This IKO Enertherm ALU insulation board is suitable for a range of applications including external wall insulation with closed joints, loft insulation, floor insulation with concrete floors and underfloor heating, cavity wall insulation, flat roof installation for timber, steel and concrete deck and type nF pitched roof insulation with neutral felt.
