Find out moreIf you're looking for temporary weather protection of your roof before laying tiles or slates, consider this Danelaw LR150TT roof underlay. Not only is it durable and UV-resistant, but it also comes with integral tapes for sealing overlaps, ensuring increased weather tightness and perfect sealing of horizontal overlaps.
This underlay is ideal for securing your roof, even in moist or dusty conditions. With BBA approval, it can be used in warm and cold roofs and is recommended for a maximum exposure of three months. However, installing your tiles or slates is recommended as soon as possible for optimal results. This underlay can be fitted in a roof structure without ventilation if a VCL has been installed and there is a well-sealed ceiling.
It is important to take precautions to prevent oil and petrol from encountering this underlay during construction, especially when using power tools. It should also avoid exposure to water-based timber treatments or wet solvents.
This Danelaw LR150TT underlay is a high-quality, low-resistance type LR underlay that meets BS 5250 Annex H standards. It can be installed in unsupported applications by draping over rafters or in supported applications over rigid insulation or timber sarking. Independently tested by the BRE, it can be used at a 250mm batten gauge and 345mm batten gauge unsupported in all wind uplift zones.
