The AH7 hatch is described as 'drop-in'. Does it have any closure mechanism to achieve full closure on the seals?

Answer:

Unfortunately unlike the other loft hatches in this range, there are no security bolts to achieve additional closure.

What fire properties does the AH7 have?

Answer:

The AH7 provides a Class 0 surface spread of flame rating based on the door material. The AH7 with Masterboard facing also offers a half hour fire resistance fire rating.

Is the AH7 air-tight?

Answer:

The AH7 comes with efficient air and vapour seals to comply with BS 5250, Approved Document C, Robust Details 2002 and the recommendations of the BRE Digest 270 and BRE IP4/06.
