Find out moreDesigned to drop down from the ceiling, Glidevale's AH5 loft hatches utilise twin latches to secure the hatch and two hinges for opening it. They are made from injection-moulded polypropylene and are equipped with an insulated hatch to ensure compliance with Part L regulations by providing 0.35 W/m²K.
To meet the requirements set forth in Building Regulations Approved Documents L and C for loft hatches, each Glidevale AH5 Part L loft hatch is produced in compliance with BS EN ISO 9001 standards. By meeting these requirements, Glidevale AH5 loft hatches are certified to deliver excellent performance, to minimise heat loss, and lower the risk of condensation.
The hatch's thermal insulation continues the loft or ceiling insulation for less heat loss, while the seal around the loft hatch prevents water vapour migration and contributes to the reduction of condensation risk.
