The Eco-Liner dry lining insulation board from EcoTherm is fibre-free and allows internal wall insulation in one easy application without impacting your interior space. EcoTherm Eco-Liner is ideal for insulating from the inside, which upgrades the thermal performance in existing buildings. The boards also respond quickly to heating systems and provide a cost-effective means of reducing CO2 emissions for compliance with Building Regulations.

Eco-Liner insulated plasterboard can be installed within new and existing properties and is suitable for internal wall applications, including solid, cavity or timber frame walls. The 2 in 1 board insulates and dry lines walls in one application. You can also use it to line the underside of pitched roof rafters to create a room in the roof. Eco-Liner is ideal for refurbishing existing buildings to a greater thermal performance rating.

do you need to plaster the walls after fixing

Answer:

If you're installing plasterboard or a dry lining board you have the choice of either painting or decorating straight onto the board, or finishing with a layer of skim plaster.

What's the thickness of the plasterboard itself is it 12.5mm?

You are correct, the thickness of the plasterboard is 12.5mm thick.

Is this suitable for direct attachment? (Dot and dab)

Answer:

You can use the 'Dot and Dab' method to fix this to a wall if you wish, and you also can mechanically fix it if desired.
