Find out moreThese DriTherm® Cavity Slabs 37 are an excellent insulation solution for your external masonry cavity walls. Manufactured from water-repellent glass mineral wool, they offer unparalleled thermal performance, making them perfect for full-fill cavity walls.
These Knauf DriTherm® Slabs are non-combustible and completely fill the cavity, meaning that cavity barriers are not necessary as they reduce the risk of fire spreading through the cavity. They have achieved the highest Euroclass A1 rating for reaction to fire and are manufactured with Knauf Insulation's environmentally friendly ECOSE® Technology which uses a unique bio-based binder. What's more, they are designed to fit snugly between wall ties, eradicating the requirement for retaining discs.
Perfect for use in buildings up to 12m high in any exposure zone, these DriTherm® Cavity Slabs can also be used in multi-storey applications up to 25m in height. The British Board of Agrément (BBA) has certified them for use in all exposure zones, including extremely severe environments. They will not transmit moisture by capillary action across the cavity or below the damp proof course level, nor will they transmit water to the inner leaf.
With an easier installation process than rigid boards, these unfaced DriTherm® Cavity Slabs feature a material that can adapt to the substrate's minor imperfections and knit together, preventing any air gaps for optimal performance. They are straightforward to handle, lightweight and can be cut to size with ease. For short-term protection, they come in polythene packs.
