Find out moreAs a high-quality multi-purpose polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board with excellent thermal performance, this Celotex TB4040 insulation is quick and easy to install without any hassle. It's ideal for use in all sorts of floor, wall and roof applications.
Thanks to the innovative low emissivity foil facing, this insulation board has an outstanding thermal conductivity of 0.022W/mK. As a result, the insulation thickness necessary to meet the target uValue is reduced significantly, which saves you space. The high-performance facer also improves thermal performance in sealed cavity air spaces, boosting uValues even further.
It gets even better, as this versatile, thin PIR insulation board, available in a size of 2400mm in length by 1200mm in width by 40mm in thickness, is rigid and lightweight, making it easy to install in no time. It also has a BRE (Building Research Establishment) Green Guide Rating of A for sustainability and environmental friendliness. What's more, it is certified by the BBA (British Board of Agrément), so you know it has been designed to the highest industry standards and meets all relevant regulations.
Question:
I am looking for an insulation board that can be made into a box structure to fit over a storage battery in our garage. One side will be open to fit against a wall. A small tubular heater will be wired inside by an electrician. Any thoughts?
Answer:
Rather than a rigid board, I'd strongly reccomend draping a form of insulative foil as this will be much more malleable to fit over rather than having to cut and amend a board and leave it exposed.
Question:
is this product ok for east facing inside shed wall and how do i fit to wall
Answer:
You can use this product in an inside shed wall provided it is not exposed to the elements, although slabs might be a better option - please see the below guide for more info - https://www.insulationsuperstore.co.uk/help-and-advice/project-guides/insulation/insulating-a-shed/
