Find out moreWith this powerful and practical BodenWärme Underwood Heating Kit, you can transform the heating in your kitchen, bathroom or living room. With everything you require for installation with wood and laminate flooring, it comes complete with a simple, no-nonsense thermostat and a durable heating mat.
No matter the size of your space, there is a wide range of coverage options available to suit your application needs. As a fuss-free solution that comes right out of the box, this BodenWärme Underwood Heating Mat comes with a lifetime manufacturer-backed warranty so you can install it with confidence and complete peace of mind.
This heating mat features tough fluoropolymer heating element insulation on the inside which ensures it can last a lifetime while the dual-core wire with a single connection point means it can connect with a single wire for straightforward compatibility and installation, unlike other carbon film systems. With minimal impact on the height of your floors even after installation, the BodenWärme mat makes certain that you don't have to adjust doors or sacrifice space due to the ultra-thin encapsulated 1mm wire. Thanks to the aluminium mat composition, it can evenly distribute heat.
This BodenWärme Kit also includes a simple manual thermostat with an easy-to-use and intuitively controlled dial interface, a clear LED power indicator and a built-in temperature sensor. Fitting effortlessly in standard single gang 45mm back boxes, it has an unobtrusive and elegant design and offers universal compatibility with all electric underfloor heating mats.
These heating mats cannot be shortened or cut to size, so it is vital that you choose the correct size. First, calculate the total floor space area in metres squared (m²). Next, deduct any space occupied by fixed furniture with less than 50mm clearance from the floor. This will eliminate the possibility of hot spots. When you have a total area minus the deductions, subtract an extra 10% to allow for the spacing around the room's perimeter and between the mats. The final number is your required kit size in m². A single thermostat can control an area of up to 24m². Areas bigger than 24m² should be divided into separate zones and controlled with multiple thermostats.
