This Blowerproof Liquid is a versatile and sustainable solution for achieving an airtight finish in buildings, whether new constructions or retrofitting. This water-based formula is free from VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and designed for easy application, ensuring minimal wastage and errors and maximum efficiency.
With this Blowerproof Liquid, you can achieve a seamless and airtight finish by roller or spray application without the need for primers. Its flexibility and superior adhesion make it perfect for sealing block and brickwork, masonry, stone and concrete as well as wood, metal, aluminium, insulation and EPDM. It can even be applied to moist surfaces. It can also be plastered, rendered or painted, making it a versatile choice for large-area applications on walls and ceilings. Its re-sealable 10kg packaging and white colour add to its convenience and practicality.
On highly porous surfaces, you should allow up to 1kg per square metre of coverage while on smooth non-porous surfaces, you should allow up to 750g per square metre of coverage.
For sealing penetrations and connections, Blowerproof Liquid Brush can be used to allow for precise 'cutting in' before roller or spray application. For plugging larger gaps and holes, Blowerproof Non-Shrink Gap Filling Mortar can provide a flexible and permanent airtight layer. For less than 2mm crack bridging, fill with Blowerproof Non-Shrink Gap Filling Mortar for a 0.6mm dry film thickness.
