You can apply Baumit SilikonTop to a range of surface types if Baumit UniPrimer has been applied first. It is compatible with external wall insulation when the appropriate preparation has taken place, cement and lime render, organic basecoats, gypsum plasters and various other surfaces.

Baumit SilikonTop is a wet topcoat best suited for applications over new and old mineral coatings or prepared surfaces. For ultimate results, it should be used with Baumit UniPrimer. The product is ready-mixed, applies easily and dries best between temperatures of 5°C and 20°C and 60% humidity. When applied at cooler temperatures or higher humidity, it can possibly extend drying time.
