This pipe insulation can be conveniently installed alongside pipes for a range of uses, such as hot and cold water services, refrigerated pipework, ductwork, and chilled water lines.
Both flexible and durable, this product is easy to quickly slip over pipes without causing damage to either the insulation or the pipes. Not only does Armaflex pipe insulation help prevent frost on pipes, but it also conserves energy and regulates condensation levels, reducing the risk of costly repair work that could arise from frost or condensation damage. This pipe insulation is also dust and fibre free, and features a vapor barrier built-in during manufacturing, further enhancing energy-saving properties. Built-in anti-microbial protection also reduces growth of mould and bacteria.
This pipe insulation boasts excellent fire safety performance, as it has demonstrated zero surface spread of flame, making it ideal for tackling thermal bridging. Additionally, it provides some acoustic insulation benefits by minimising noise from water and air traveling through pipes.
