Ensuring optimal airflow and moisture diffusion through the roof, this fully air-permeable membrane minimises condensation risks, making it an effective choice for various applications, even when moisture levels are particularly high, such as during a building's drying-out period. Highly water-resistant with a W1 rating under EN13859-1, it boasts a Hydrostatic Head of water surpassing 1m and features a hydrophobic additive in all three layers, allowing exposure for up to four months, offering the building envelope temporary weather protection.
Meeting and exceeding BS5534 wind uplift standards through third-party testing, Proctor Air is suitable for all wind zones (1-4) in the UK and does not require tape. Innovatively designed, Proctor Air provides superior airflow through non-ventilated roofs compared to those following BS5250 standards, eliminating the requirement for costly ventilation hardware. Additionally, the membrane's installation negates the need for a vapour control layer in non-ventilated cold, pitched roof constructions, streamlining the process.
