EcoTherm Eco-Versal general purpose insulation boards
Eco-Versal uses
Eco-Versal general purpose boards are suitable for use in both old and new buildings. They can help cost-effectively reduce CO2 emissions and are ideal for improving the thermal performance of building elements, such as:
- Floors
- Pitched roofs
- Cold flat roofs
- Timber frame walls
- Solid walls
- Dormer cheeks
- Ceilings
- Room-in-the-roof applications
Eco-Versal boards protect from alkalis and acid, mineral oil and petrol attacks. However, they’re not resistant to ketonic solvents.
Eco-Versal specifications
Eco-Versal boards have a fibre-free rigid PIR insulation core and aluminium foil composite facings on each side. They range in thickness from 25mm to 150mm.
The R-value is a measurement of the resistance to heat flow. Better insulating products have higher R-values. Find out more about insulation R-values.

EcoTherm Eco-Liner rigid PIR dry lining insulation boards
Eco-Liner uses
Eco-Liner dry lining insulation boards are suitable for mechanically fixed or dot and dab adhesive dry lining use on both new and existing timber frames and solid or cavity walls. This two-in-one board solution is ideal for insulating and dry lining walls in one go.
Eco-Liner specifications
Eco-Liner boards have a fibre-free PIR core and a bilaminate foil/kraft paper on the outside facing. They’re bonded to a 12.5mm tapered edge gypsum plasterboard on the inner facing. Their thickness range is from 25mm to 70mm (add another 12.5mm for the plasterboard).
The R-value is a measurement of the resistance to heat flow. Better insulating products have higher R-values.
R-value (m²K/W) | Thickness (mm) | Width (mm) | Length (mm) |
1.13 | 37.5 | 1200 | 2400 |

EcoTherm Eco-Cavity partial fill cavity wall insulation boards
Eco-Cavity uses
Eco-Cavity partial fill cavity wall insulation boards are ideal for use in traditional masonry walls. In addition to having high thermal performance, they maintain a clear residual air gap and provide effective protection against driving rain.
Eco-Cavity specifications
Like Eco-Versal boards, Eco-Cavity ones have a PIR insulation core faced with a low-emissivity aluminium foil composite on each side. The boards come in convenient sizes and range in thickness from 40mm to 100mm. This allows them to coordinate with brick and block dimensions and makes possible the appropriate installation of wall ties.
The R-value is a measurement of the resistance to heat flow. Better insulating products have higher R-values.
